Activera therefore offers maximum enjoyment with minimal consumption. A flexible flow limiter restricts water consumption, which is also helped out by efficient hansgrohe EcoSmart and EcoSmart+ technology. 

Both the hand shower and the overhead shower consume just 8 l/min with EcoSmart and as little as 6 l/min with EcoSmart+.*

This allows for water savings of up to 40 % (with EcoSmart) or 60 % (with EcoSmart+). Less water also means lower energy costs. Particularly in larger projects, such as apartment buildings or hotels, the effect is huge and the savings soon add up. There are also other sustainability factors, such as recyclability, as some Activera components can be reused.

Activera and recycling – a new concept from the ground up

The new hansgrohe shower range is made of recycled components wherever possible – for more resource conservation and eco-friendliness. For example, the Chrome hand showers are made, on average, of 59 percent bio-attributed plastic*, while this innovative material accounts for 9 percent in the overhead shower. Speaking of the overhead shower: The Chrome finish has been reduced by 68 percent compared to the previous Crometta S overhead shower.

If individual parts, such as the cartridge, need to be replaced in the Activera hand shower, this can be easily opened thanks to EasySplit technology.
